Default FS: D16Y8 sohc vtec head mint 72k miles.

I've got a D16Y8 head for sale that was pulled from a 99 ex w/ a bad rod bearing. I'll let it go for 200 + shipping. head is complete w/ Y8 intake manifold, throttle body, cam gear, all sensors including TPS....head is mint/complete.

or just the head for $150 + shippping
or just the intake manifold for $60 shipped

don't forget, the y8 manifold is the best d series intake manifold and will give a 3-5 HP increase on any sohc head.

come on....throw this on a 1.6 no tec block and see how much compression you get out of it....the Y8 head's are designed exactly like the GSR heads w/ the quench chambers in the combustion chamber...which does two things....raise compression alot and help protect against detonation. These heads are great to put on 88-91 si's or 96-00 d16y7 dx motors. w/ that combo they'll put out over 130-135 HP.

the only thing you're missing is the distributor. you need an 88-91 si dizzy
and:
96-00 ex head gasket and timing belt
vafc or msd rpm activated switch for vtec.
oil and coolant...
spin the tires

oh yah...i also have an si tranny that would compliment this swap.....would run high 14's with that setup....same setup as my boy.

sorry...i was thinking you were talking about a mini me in an 88-91 si. as for the distributor, all 88-91 si, 92-95 non vtec, and 96-00 distributors are interchangable. Trust me. your y7 will run the y8 perfect.

haha...ur in luck. i do. i'll add that for an additional $60 plus shipping. so like an additional $65. let me know. I'd suggest using the Y8 intake manifold though. if you think about it, i'm only charging an extra 50 for the manifold, if you use your y7 manifold (which has a crappy design ) then you'd still have to spend the $20 extra bux for a new intake manifold gasket so you'd only be saving $30 and you'd be sacrificing more than 5 HP compared to the Y8 manifold. It's like a Type-R for Dseries...none of the other manifolds flow as good. If you get the whole thing, i'll do you a favor and sell you everything for $300 shipped. Complete head, intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, fuel rail, and all sensors w/ the p2p ecu for $300 shipped. just let me know. just keep in mind that the head assy. is COMPLETE...it was removed from the engine and nothing has been removed from the head at all.

exactly.
head= 200 + shipping. shipping is going to be like $50
ecu= $50 shipped.
$250 + $50 = $300
that's a steal.
you must of misunderstood or something...it's all in my first post.

hey, if you're interested in a SOHC VTEC D16Y8 tranny, let me know. better gearing = better acceleration. I'll give it to you for $250 shipped.
