How much labor is involved in doing head gasket on b16a1 for my crx si, what can i expect to spend at a shop. I know shop rates varey but what are the hours like for that amount of work?

 

usaully $500 is a normal price for labor maybe 100 for parts, also if you havent done it recently change timing belt and waterpump and tensioner since they have to come off anyway when the head is done

 

just save the money do some research and do it your self......

 

this swap really only 30 k on it dont think timing belt tis broken in yet, so around 600 huh? yeah i would attempt to do work myself I want warrenty and full diagnostics anyhow might as well pay few extra hundreds dollars to have done
