Can i use the block from a 93 teggy if it was underwater??
I went to pull the motor today and it had water in all pistons. and in the oil pan it was mixed water and oil. but the owner i know he said i can put some diesal fuel in the cylinder's and ect and it will eat all the rust if there is any up. ONly after i flushed the block ..

I'd be worried about rust on all bearing surfaces and also how did the engine die? Did it get waterlocked? You would basically have to rebuild the engine anyway, so I would get another block that blew rings or something for cheaper
