Default got dammit, I jumped a CURB!

alright man yesterday i had my car lowered guess what wrong springs, had to switch the front with back, then it was good, then at night time i got into an accident side swiped some dude but he let it go

and TODAY i was tryna test out my suspension so i tried to hang a right turn but my tires slipped and i jumped onto the diving curb with my FL tire.

i jacked the car up and looked at everything nothing look bent, the wheels still spin straight.

but now my steering wheel is centered a tiny bit to the right, and my car pulls right(it was like that before though). also the FL isnt as low as the FR(about half a cm). dont know if it was because I jumped the curb or what because I didnt really look at my car after it was lowered

but anyways my question is i dont know if its me, but it seems like my FL wheel moved FORWARD like half a centimeter also, if i get an alignment will all these problems be fixed?

No an alignment won't cure ALL of these problems.

Sounds to me like you suck at driving pretty badly. Yesterday you side swiped some guy, then today you jump a curb?!?

Get an alignment and see what problems are still there.

Then chill the **** out and learn to drive like a civil human being.

yea i used to own a miata...

i was probly going like 40 then i braked to 35 or so and turn then halfway in i realized oh **** my tires arent gripping so i braked and boom right up the curb and back down.. after word my steering was a little wobbly but for some reason 2 minutes later it felt fine except the alignment thing. but i just lowered my car so i wasnt use to the feeling yet so i dont know if its any difference before and after jumping the curb. i have such bad luck with cars if you knew my history you would tell me to never own a car again

btw i've been driving stick for 1 year i've had many close calls but never an accident, then all of a sudden i have 2 in a row.. sigh

1. Do your tires have tread, if not, this would be the reason you couldn't turn going 35.

2. A lower stance on a car gives it better handeling capabilities, due to a lower center of gravity.....thus the reason people lower cars. Not just to make it look mAd t!ghT yO!

3. We DO know your history, you just told us. And yes, we do think you shouldn't be driving.

so if i get an alignment then the car will no longer pull to either side and the steering wheel will be calibarated to the center, right?

i had that happen to me before, make sure that the rim is not bent which i doubt it and if it is u will need a new rim u can try balancing it and see by how much is it of, look closer at the control arm and everything else, after u do all the nessesery things first then an alligment will help..........another thing if u just lowered ur car yesterday ur first thing was to take it in for an alligment

In this case you dont want to brake because when you let your foot off the gas, you are causing massive wieght transfer. Just take the turn and hope you make it because when your tires stop gripping its too late to pull back

Physics of Racing Series

Part 1: Weight Transfer
Part 2: Keeping Your Tires Stuck to the Ground

it sounds like you dont even know what your car can and cant do.
just because u installed springs doesnt mean that you cant take 90* turns at 60 mph , or handle like a F1 car.

quit doing stupid **** , and stop putting people in risk.
btw.
its not ur luck.
its your own fault, and skills
