stick welder on car alternator
ive heard of people doing this, as well as the guy who made a tig from an alternator(on a mustang board)
anyone here actually have first hand experience?

i've seeen one of those welder kits for an off-road truck up close; looked pretty much like a big alternator and a control box that i never got a good look at.

IIRC though it was like a 400 AMP alternator! those are not cheap!!

check ebay; i found a few 250a gm 1 wires for ~ $300. i nearly bought one to put on my Z32 and to prove this dipshit wrong at a local audio shop.

i didnt think constant voltage and stick welding went together verry well?
check ebay; i found a few 250a gm 1 wires for ~ $300. i nearly bought one to put on my Z32 and to prove this dipshit wrong at a local audio shop.
