lol..yeah its perfectly fine to run the motor with out oil..but thats like being left in the deasert with out water. If you run your car with out oil all you'll hear is....kabooOM!!!! then time for new motor :-D
i have a video of a couple guys ripping a civic no oil in the engine and they were just adding water do the engine, the car was ok for about ten min. and then booomm.......ill post the video when i find it
I HAVE DONE THIS! was told to move a car at a dealer ship two parking spots down... wasn't told til after that it had no oil... worked fine but was just runninf for a few seconds...

There is a video of this - I'll see if I can find it. If I recall, the car in the video is a blue Civic - fully drained of oil, car runs fine. Next, they proceed to pour water in the valve cover and the damn things still runs!
