Same ol same ol. Nothing new in that article. Thats why I stopped going to palomar on the weekends a long time ago. Maybe every once and a while Ill go up on a weekend but not very often. Going on a weekday is pretty nice. Completely empty mountain.

 

I'm not far from Deal's Gap... and this article sounds very similar.... except for a couple things:

We have many harleys and cruisers that wipe out. They want to ride fast, but the bikes drag parts when they lean much. A bit too much drag and it lifts one of the wheels off the pavement.

We have many more accidents here also.

Eating at mother's on the weekday is pretty nice too not having to wait forever for your food.
