Default What tires should I get for my GSR?

I'm almost done with mods for my '01 GSR. The suspension is dialed in perfectly, I just need to make a decision as to what tires to get? I have about 1 more month on the stock Michelins.

These tires will be for both canyon running and solo2. Any other great bang for the buck tires out there besides the Kuhmos?

Thanks!

Falken Azenis. They'd be perfect for your application.

Tire rack has had an awesome sale on Bridgestone Potenza S03s but only in our size 195/50/15. Awesome tires. You wont be disapointed.

Potenza 730 in 205/50/15 are great and inexpensive...~450 mounted for all 4. They'll last about 20K miles too.

If you concerned with money, I personally bought the Generals @ Discount Tire! So far, So good!

Sticky @ times...good traction! I think its around $50-$60? Good low pro tire for the buck!

I know you don't need an all season tire, but if you want em I recommend Dunlop SP-5000, they're good. And I can't say from experience, but I hear the Dunlop SP-9000 are great as well.

I use the kumho's and they perform great. If youre willing to wait, azenis. I think there's some Pirelli's under that price range. The name just slipped my mind.

theyre perfect for daily driving. People say that it's wet weather performance sucks but would you be driving like a maniac in the rain anyway?

Im at half tread on my Azenis, they are still queit, They are great tires in most respects, grip, noise, grip. But they do wear fast, four track days, two autoX, and three months daily driving, They are even good in rain unless the roads are channeled badly.

Sounds like the Azenis are the ones for me... I was at the AutoX today...

The guys in my autox club all run Azenis... Just need to find a place that has 'em in stock.

I hear they're back ordered...

If anyone finds a great price, please post here!!!!

TIA, Again!
