1999 Civic Si EPB Richmond Virginia lots of mods
I HATE to do this, but the circumstances of life require me to get rid of my baby. I bought this car brand new back in September of 1999 and have loved building it up. Its definitely not the same car I started out with, though it was a blast right out of the box. I am asking $9500. Here are the details:
1999 Honda Civic Si, VIN # 1HGEM1156XL092221, 91,750 miles
Exterior:
Completely shaved and debadged (side moldings, emblems, antenna… everything except rain gutters)
Custom flared rear fenders
Custom pearl accents over EPB respray
A daily driver in the city, so body is not perfect… needs a new rear bumper due to bumping (I already replaced the small panel below the brake light where someone backed into me) and also has a small dent in the hood from an SUV or truck. Front lip has some typical scrape marks. Doors and fenders are perfect, though. Not much to bring it back to show quality.
Interior:
Completely stock. A couple of stains on the floor mats. Not perfect, but not bad for a daily driver. Does the stereo count as a mod?
Wheels:
White 16 X 7 Rota Slipstreams w/205/40/16 Kuhmo Ecstas (90+ % tread)
Engine/Drivetrain:
B16A2 engine
Socketed P28 ECU w/ OBD1 conversion and custom program
JDM Integra Type R Cams
JD4 Type R Transmission w/ LSD (4.4 final drive)
Competition Stage 2 clutch and new flywheel (~8k miles)
AEM Cold Air Intake
RARE! AEM cat-back exhaust (sounds better than any other Civic/Integra exhaust I’ve ever heard)
MSD Street Blaster ignition coil
Short shift kit
Oh! Type-r ripoff shift ****!
Suspension:
Tokiko Blue shocks
Neuspeed Sport springs
Neuspeed Upper and Lower Rear tie bars
Sprint Camber Kit front and rear (with fully adjustable control arms, not the crappy offset ball-joint kind)
Type R steering rack
This car handles extremely well. The limited slip differential really pulls you through turns, especially at lower speeds when one tire would usually spin. The tie bars in the rear very noticeably stabilize the car if you have to brake around a curve and make the ***-end feel invincible. (Notice I said feel. No car is crash-proof, so don’t drive like an asshat).
Stereo / Alarm:
Kenwood head unit and 5-band EQ w/ variable sub crossover and volume control
(2) Alpine V-12 amps
Polk Audio component set
Top-of-the-line Crimestopper alarm w/ motion sensor, microphone, and easily adjustable sensitivity
New (within the past 1000 miles) :
Timing belt
Valve cover gasket
Upper and lower ball joints
Pads and Rotors
Wheel bearings (both front and 1 rear)
