Default springs or coilovers

guys im not really very edjucated in suspension
maybe you can help me out.
i want to lower my car
i am keeping the stock rims and running 205/15 tires
should i go with like neuspeed springs
or like gc coilovers
i just want to eliminate my wheel well gap and get alittle lower
and for that sporty look.
can someone explain springs
when i put springs on i use my existing shocks right?
and i have heard talk about cracking bushings or something on the gc coil overs
well if some one can just tell me the difference between the two
and how installing springs is different that installing coilovers
that would be a help
thanks guys

Whenever you put lowering springs or coilover sleeves while using oem shocks, it will decrease the life expectancy of the shock.

Coilovers allow you to adjust the height of the car whenever you want, while the Neuspeed spring is just a spring and offers no adjustability.

Kind of vague, but hope you see the difference b/t the two types.

Like he said, if you're going to put on new springs or coilovers, it's a good idea to switch out to new shocks or struts. Popular ones on the board are Koni Yellows (the most popular) also people like the Tokico Illuminas and the KYB AGX ( <- I think that's right). All are adjustable shocks for stiffness. So yeah, in conclusion, if you want to drop your car, it's safest to get new shocks as well.
