Default To those w/ the greddy turbo kit

I recently came across a used greddy kit for an extremely good price and Im thinking of picking it up. Heres the thing, it isnt being sold w/ the emanage.. I was wondering what your guys experiences were with it??? Should I try to find one? I realize hondata, crome, uberdata are superior but hondata is pretty expensive and Im really not the DIY tuner type of guy to be using uberdata etc...

My goals for the car are not lofty at all... I have no whp goal. I just want to run the greddy kit on my stock motor at 6-7 psi. I just want this motor to last as long as possible w/ fi. I am not planning on building the motor or upgrading the kit in the future. I may purchase some small upgrades such as injectors, fuel pump, etc.... down the road but nothing extreme that would affect the life of the engine. Thanks in advance!

I haven't ever heard good things about emanage. If you don't want hondata or uberdata, I would recommend just tuning with a vafc or something. Or get uberdata and I have a good basemap that you can use.

you really think my vafc2 would be sufficient?? Tuning a turbo setup w/ that thing kinda scares me...

i disagree completely. atleast with emanage you can adjust timing and fuel. try to tune a turbo setup with a vafc and see how long the motor lasts.

the greddy kit for preludes dont come with emanage.. it comes with the blue box which is kinda like an electronic FMU. pretty much garbage. If you worried about the blue box, dont sweat it

Why would you purchase injectors or a fuel pump for the kit??? The 370 cc injectors included with the kit provide way more fuel than you will need.

E-manage works fine, there's an h-t member with a 5th gen running it with a custom turbo kit, making about 350 whp. Can't remember his name but I've seen his posts in the FI forum.
