I got a ticket last night for careless driving. Didn't see that the turn was further than it was and a cop decided not to try to stop on a yellow light so he "swurved" turned around and stopped me. He said he was nice enough not to give me a ticket for my tint, and wreckless driving so I guess it's better than what I could've had. What should I do? I've had 2 points taken off and I don't think any more can be taken, so take the bull by the horns or try to fight it?

I live in jersey...hourly rate is like a 100 dude, you gota hire some redneck idiot to do 40-50. I'll fight it though

 

Anyone know the rates of how much my insurance will increase for 2 points? Im on my parents plan and as of right now its around 1200 I beleive. Keep in mind I'm 19

 

I personally got a ticket for reckless and careless, no seatbelt, 70 in a 55, and running a stop sign, all at one time. It took about 2 months and $750 but it all got reduced to improper equipment... no points, no increase in insurance, and the $750 is quite cheap compared to how much my insurance would have increased.
