Crank : 5M1959-STD

Thrust : 1T1957

And for the rods : 4B1946-STD

That's what I have in my Dart block.

Hi

Could you enlight me whether there is any fitment problem of the Dart Tall Deck block into a civic 4 door? Is it a perfect fit? Was any modifications done on, example, brackets, engine mounting positions, etc? Or was it like fitting a stock engine into the civic?

When trying to fit the block in my engine bay, I noticed that a bracket (I think to secure the driveshaft to the block - correct me if I am wrong) does not fit the bolt holes on the block. Anyone else facing same problem or have other problems fitting a Dart Tall deck block into the engine bay?

Pls kindly englighten me.

Thanks

I believe for b20's you use b18 mounts I think. when you say drive shaft, do you mean the tranny, the half shafts or drive shaft axles don't bolt to the block. Or maybe you mean the T looking rear mount or the tranny. If not, you can't or shouldn't use a b20 tranny if that's what you're using. Anywho the only prob you might have is deck hight, I don't know much about the dart blocks but if you're deck height is too much it might hit the hood. BTW what bore is you're block and what will you be displacing with that taller deck hight? What custom rods are you using? Sound's like it'll be a monster.
