Default About the rear bumper foglight

I wanted to buy one of these, but I wasn't sure if they are found on JDM integras and/or just EDM integras. On jdmland.com, it shows that you can either put one on the left or the right. It also shows pictures, and it looks like the red ITR (only found in Europe if I'm correct) has it on the left. So would the JDM be on the left or the right? Confusing huh? lol

Also, they show the light on a 98+ rear bumper. I have a 96spec car and wanted to put it on the 96 rear bumper, I'm sure there is no problem, but has anyone done it?

I'm not sure if all this trouble for a light is worth it, but I don't see many or any people around the woods with the foglight in the rear bumper.

Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks

They are found on EDM/UKDM Integras. They are supposed to go on the driver side....alot of people don't place them right so be careful if you do get it. Honestly I wouldn't pay as much as people are charging for the rear fog light...I got mines last year for only 50 bucks incl the switch while others now are selling them for near 200.

here it is on my car

Hmm, where does the switch go? Do you have a pic of it? I'm not interested in doing this mod but it'd be interesting to see the switch.

Ever heard of "London Fog"? The UK and the European continent are prone to rather thick fog, moreso than other markets for the ITR, so Honda equipped those ITRs with the rear red foglight. It's lower to the ground to help with visibility.

Other European cars have them as well.

it wires up to the fog light switch...the switch goes in the spot of that fake vent by your steering wheel

This is a front fog light switch. On cars that came equipped from the factory with the rear fog lamp, there would be a separate switch to operate it, and there would also be an indicator light (either integrated into the switch or on the dash).
