Default Night Shots - Take Three

Took these last night. I don't know why but that boat ramp down on Alki Beach is such a great place for pictures. I wouldn't mind squeezing four or five R's down on it for some quality pixor taking.

I met up with Fast 4, Jisu009, and a guy I cannot remember. He drives the hatch with the carbon fiber hood. Nice fellow.

We weren't out very long. It was cold and everyone was tired. We got revved on about thirty times. Made for some good chuckles.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Seattle, these are at Alki Beach near Salty's. Over looking Elliot Bay with down town Seattle in the back ground. The shiny white structure on the left is the Space Needle. The structure on the right consisting of the huge arcing blue light is Qwest Field.

Hope you enjoy the pics and again, if anyone would like to get together, please send me an instant message. Enjoy!

Nice! What ISO were you shooting at? I see quite a bit of noise in the shots, maybe thats from WTDR quality restrictions but if you were using a tripod you should be able to bump the ISO down to 100 and have a cleaner shot

ISO was 100. I was experimenting with digital flash, sharpness settings and points of focus. The camera is nothing to write home about but I make due with what I have.

Photography, like any form of art and expression is a constant learning curve.

Nice shots. My favorite is the last one with the panoramic cityscape in the background.

I still think canoe's look cooler when strapped to the top of cars.

some people are getting their panties all bunched up about the box on top of brandon's car. there is something known as FUNCTION > FORM. he surfs and from what i can tell, he's very dedicated to it. if i were to take my R snowboarding, i can guarantee i would have one of those boxes to shove all my gear in!
