Has anyone had any problems with subframe tear using the comptech 22mm swaybar and tiebar combo. I know the tiebar is used as reinforcement, but has anyone had problems? I know people had tear outs with the beaks kit but not sure about this combo.

my current setup is

Tein Flex coilovers
Oem front swaybar

im prob not much help to you but i have the comptech sway/tie combo on my del sol. Ive had it for about a month...done a few spirited driving runs and have no problems as of yet. Most likely this problem occurs over time. But ive heard many vouches from auto x'ers saying they've been running the combo for over a year and had no problems. Its a great piece. from me!

 

i have never heard of any tear out with the comptech bar even on the stiffest settings daily driven...

if i could afford one i would buy one

 

comptech is a great piece, also look into the asr bar.

Never had any issues while it was on my Integra. Drove it hard for over a year
