I searched, seems everyone likes the Pilot Powers for daily/track riding.

Anyone have a preferential favorite besides the Pilot?

I'm looking at the end of the life on the OEM tire (Battle Axe) and plan on hitting mulitple track days in 06.

Any suggestions?

Power or diablo. You won't outride either of those and you will get decent mileage out of them on the street as long as you watch your pressures.

My friends have Pilot Powers on their bikes (some street, some track). I have Power Race on my trackbike, and they are kickass.

 

heard great things about the pilots they will probably be my next set. right now i have the Metzler Sportec M1s and im pretty happy with them, i think its an awesome tire for the money.

 

i just got my pilot powers put on - I love them - a lot better than my dunlop 208's

i got the tires for 225 shipped and then 80 bucks for mount and balance at a local shop

 

Pilots are wicked tires....I had em on my gixxer and there the only thing i really miss besides 6th gear pickup

battleaxes are decent....all the stock dunlops tires suck severly...
