My lips will be shinier than this, possibly the whole wheel.

Well I test fit a wheel tonight. Here's the results.

my aftermarket Mutkei i think nuts are too long for the center cap stuff to screw on. Also, my threads seem a bit short, but maybe it's ok.
With open ended nuts I will know.
Also, I'm going to have to measure for some hub centric rings, b/c I need some right? Or is it not necesssary? I drive 400 miles one way sometimes.
here's the rings missing

I know no one cares, but those who love old skool wheels and are experienced with repair and refinishing chime in.

Tomorrow I am disassembling the wheels. Unbolting the 3 pieces from each other.

I gathered up a good lil list of stuff to make these wheels shine. Now the important part, when reassembling them, what silicone sealant do you recommend? At lowes today I found some aluminum silicone sealant (made for aluminum things).
That was my best idea on what to use. Luckily, some friends back home are gonna chat with me over the phone about what to do and what not to do. I just don't want to mess these up at all, and ensure they're safe when it's all said and done.

lemme know

Hmm, hondabond you say? Man, that stuff is the miracle sealant for anything I guess. I got this silicone and I hope it'll work. I'm going to give it a shot maybe on one wheel first?

more junk

I know man, I have a plan to keep them on, but it might not work. I taped off the sticker with painters maskin tape and it worked pretty well for goofin off. I can just sand the clearcoatoff if I want to.

But nothin like a super fine rim<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by VTHONDABOY &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Clean those wheels up! btw nice wheels </TD></TR></TABLE>
