RMF header w/ stock X-member, reference pics for anyone.
Here are some reference pics for anyone who may be using an RMF header with a stock crossmember. This is after the MERCILESS beating you must inflict on your stock crossmember.

Yeah i am using the Koyo, that damn thing is thick *** hell, literally like 3.5 times the thickness of stock, god that things was bitch to shoehorn in there.

Yeah, that header allows AC, and it is definitely superior to any DC, but DC is still great bang per buck, but if you are hardcore all-motor like me, you need every last horsepower you can get.
Yeah I'm trying to be hardcore all motor that is why I'm looking for a better header. That one is pretty sweet and even better that I can keep(actually get) A/C with that thing

do you have more pics of the clearance from the crossmember? Are you running a B16? This must be the narrow rmf header? Any issues so far?
hey dumb question. Did you beat the crossmember with it in the car or did you take the crossmember off to beat it like that. I just recently beat my crossmember out of shape by taking it off and beating so i am wondering how you were able to beat yours in like that.
i would be careful running your header so close to the crossmember, if your engine rocks back and forth during shifting your header will hit it and dent. I know because my anr compact has a small dent from hitting the front engine mount that i had bent back and there is a good amount of room between it and the header. By the way i am running hcp mounts which are very solid.
Thanks but yeah, it is hard to see but there is about 1.5" of clearance. I've tracked it about 20 times and no denting or touching so its good.
I took the crossmember off to beat it, be careful becuase you will warp it and it will be bitch to bolt back on. I had to take it off two times to test fit it before it was ready with enough clearance.
Also you can notice the KOYO radiator is super fat and BARELY fits inbetween my beaten crossmember.
I'm planning on traction bars in the future. Not quite yet though.

what engine was the RMF header bolted to? I'm assuming B16...
How low did it hang? You said you tracked it... was it drag racing or open track? if open track, do you drive over the burms?
Looking at purchasing an AN-R or a RMF and trying to figure out which one I should get... the AN-R doesn't seem like it'd clear a full size radiator...
