Buddy Club stage 4 or 5s for my 15:1 LS/VTEC? I had Skunks Stage 3s but I want a wilder cam. I have an 86 bore, 95 crank, AN-R header, JG Intake manifold and a fully ported head from Alaniz. Can somebody help me decide please?

 

buddy club 4's are compared to skunk stage 2's...

what are the specs on buddy c's stage 5's?

 

BC5 or RM M24E or X

when did rlz come out with a stage 4? ive got 3s and im pretty sure theyre larger than anything mentioned in this thread

 

Toda D's all the way. but i have never fucked with a 15:1 set up befor.

 

just had that set up but the motor didn't like the stage 5 BC cams for some weird reason my c/r is 14.7:1, any ways Iswitched down to some blox and feels great. but if i did it again I'd got with the skunk stage 3, I've used those up to 17:1 c/r.
now I checked both bc 5 and skunk 3 and they are both the same except bc has a bit more duration so be VERY careful. On cams such as those I usually don't even run cam gears. good luck and I'll try to post dyno results with full data.

have u compared teh S2S3's to teh BC4's???
teh skunks look stock compard to the BC's

i had BC4's on my 12:5 comp LsVtec....loved them havnt read into the BC5's tho

 

What I broke it down to is to stay with my Skunk Stage 3s or buy Buddy Club Stage 4 or 5s or the Skunk Pro Series cams. I need some more opinions please.

 

bc 4's need a bigger valve spring - JG has the only one I've seen rated for 12.5mm of lift the BC springs bind @ 12mm the JG's at 14mm

DonF, he's checked both on a cam doctor, Both cams came out to be within the same lift/duration, The primary lobes are different though...The s2s3's have a way bigger lift than the bc4's obviously..

 

I WOULD GO WITH THE BC5 JUST BECUS I OWN THEM AND THERE EXTREMELY WELL MADE CAMS JUST MY 2 PENNIES

 

wow! 15:1. what's the dome volume of the piston? what piston? whats the rod/stroke ratio? and what fuel will you be using?!

 

I can't tell you about the dome volume. Not because I won't tell you but because I'd have to find the info for it. The pistons are Arias. For right now I'm using C-16 but I'm probably going to play around with some other gas.

 

Where can I get a good price for the bcs5's?
