do some of you get paid or advertising?
I see people advertising the name of speed shops, parts, etc on their signatures so I am wondering if anyone is getting paid, sponsored or compensated in any way. If so, I want in!
If not, which I suspect it's the case, why do you advertise for free?

I only deal through R&Dmotorsports. They're just great guys, and I'd like to share their service will all of you. No we don't get anything for it, and I don't even get anything out of running their banner on my car. I'm just doing my part to help the guys that hook me up.

they probably either run the place/site, work there, or they were a customer and recieved really good service and are giving a heads up/recommending that shop/site...
