seems straight, but why?

Get your autozone ones, you get lifetime warranty, if that ever breaks, which if u car is heavily modified, its going to, go get a new one and save you a headache. plus dont have to wait on shipping. You'll be saving 5 bucks thru this ebay axle at the risk of it getting screwed via ebay.

autozone axles

How many of you ordered autozone axles and got them at THAT exact moment? Just wondering because every autozone I know of needs to special order them.

dude you're a fool if you buy that eBay axles over an autozone lifetime warranty one. First, as we all know, autozone is a well established company; the guy on eBay definately isn't. Second, the axle on eBay has a 2 year limited warranty; whereas the autozone axle has a lifetime warranty. Third, if you even get the axle from the eBay guy, there's no guarantee that its not some China POS that either won't fit, or breaks off right in your transmission. The autozone axle is a good deal. There's no way around it; unless you do what I did and buy Gator Stage2's (or whatever your need is).

Still not as long as shipping from ebay, but so many people talk about same day service and I cant seem to find one store with it!

I think 69.95 for the axle and the core is like $40

CCT-brand axles (AutoZone and NAPA) FFFFF that

I got THREE PAIRS in a row that were all bad, I had to change both my axles FOUR times in about 3-4 months because of that crap. It's not worth the hassle. Spend the money on some new axles if you possibly can.

And it only takes 20 minutes to change an axle if you're using a lift and air tools. On jackstands, even with air tools, takes at least an hour, especially if you're having to drain and refill the tranny.

I have Autozones, last pair lasted about 2 years on a modded DA. Took them in for a free exchange, the new ones were fine, no problems. Also, the local Autozone store stocked them, I never had to have them special ordered.

If it takes you an hour with air tools, you must really not know what your doing... and why would you drain tranny to change axles? Is that an Auto tranny thing? Coz i've never had too..

And IMO your better off with the auto zone axles b/c of the warranty, if you get an ebay axle, and it breaks, your out an axle, then you gotta start over. If you get an autozone axle and it breaks, your out 20 minutes of labor.

Get an autozone axle.. do it right the first time.
And if you dont want a rebuilt one, im pretty sure you can request it be a brand new one from autozone... I think
