Can someone tell me how to remove the little buttons on the upper rear part of the drivers and passengers windows? Mine are rusted badly and causing a line of rust to form on the window when it rains and i cant get it off. Heres a picture, its number 21.


And maybe someone can tell me a way to remove the rust stains from the glass?

Don't know about the button thing, but steel wool should handle the rusty glass.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Someone broke my driver's sdie window and I thought it was part of the window. After they replaced the window, I noticed it had the same rusty pin.

I want to change mine too.

glass needs to come off
its held on by a bolt behind it

 

yeah i am pretty sure it's the slider pin for the window to come down straight.. mine is rusty as well.. i'm gonna try to sand it and coat it.

 

anyone know the purpose of number 10? is it necessary?
