Default Turbo for 2500?Can it be done

Can 2500$ get me a decent kit with everything good to go? Omit installation costs as I'll probably do it myself.

You can customize your own kit for that amount, just buying the parts individually. But most of the kits that come complete are arounf $3000 and up

what is your reason for not wanting the t25? you plan on boosting over 12psi or you plan on wanting longer spool time?

A T25 will run out of steam well before redline. Plus a T3 will make quite a bit more power on the same boost level as the T25. The only real advantage a T25 would offer is a quick spool up.

well with the 8500 redline (assuming you have a Type R) i would suggest a t3 or t3/t04. make sure you dont get a wimpy aspect ratio on the exhaust housing.

In my opinion (Been doing TONS of research on FI), cutting corners/expenses in a turbo build-up is the quickest route to broken motor/poor performance. I would think that 2500 would not be enough to build a functional, and "safe" turbo kit.
