PLANBmotorsports Turbo Build...92 Si Captia Hatch...
I will try to make this short...
As some of you may know, I purchased an almost mint, bone stock, 92 Captiva Blue Si back in April. It was on H-T for 2 days when I saw it, and I shipped it into Cali from Seattle. I immediately sold the D16z6 and swapped in an already semi built gsr.
Here is a video of that setup just to keep you interested in this

Anyways, I got pressured into going turbo from dohcMONSTER and when I carfaxed the vin on the block of my gsr, it had 125,000 miles on it in 2002!!! So i figured, why not rebuild? So dohcMONSTER and I dove in and started to build this beast. Here are the list of mods and whats to come, followed by some pics...
GSR Block
CP 81.5 9:1 Pistons
Eagle H-Beams
Bore/Hone/Deck by Eddie @ RS Machine
All new seals (obviously)
STR Block Guard (I plan to boost about 15lbs. for this daily driver, and I had a budget, so this is better than nothing)
All oil clearances checked
B16 Head
Portflow Port and Polish
Toda Valve Springs
Skunk2 Retainers
GSR Cams
Skunk2 Cam Gears
3 Angle Valve job done by Eddie @ RS Machine
ARP Head Studs
GSR Tranny
2001 w/ 18,000 miles
ACT 6 puck
Type R Flywheel
Turbo
Drag Gen III Kit (good enough for a daily driver)
Engine Management
Still researching AEM EMS, and a good size injectors...any opinions or experiences welcomed!
Here are the pics of the progress so far...it's going to be a pretty mild setup compared to some of these other 450+ HP hatches but im hoping for 300+ at 12-15 lbs. Oh and the hatch weighs in at 2148 lbs

Thanks for looking, any comments welcome

Can't go wrong with AEM EMS.
No timing belt cover on there though? I know its a blinging blue belt but if I spent all that money to rebuild I'd want the peace of mind that **** couldn't easily get in by the belt.
You should have no trouble hitting 300hp either.
