Default Mix-and-Match B-Series Motors

Guys, I got a few things and am curious if there were any other ways to assemble these parts?

Blocks-
B16A2-needs a sleeve and a little love
B17A -Old school GSR, good block
B18A1-Older LS but is a good block
B18B1-Newer LS but is a good block
B18C1-Block is in decent shape, needs love

Cranks
B16A2-good crank
B17A-Spun bearings, needs machined
B18A1-good crank
B18B1-Good crank
B18C1-good crank

Rods and Pistons
B16A2-3 good pairs and 1 bad
B17A1-no good rods, 4 good pistons
B18A1-4 good pairs
B18B1-3 good pairs and 1 bad
B18C1-3 good pairs and 4 good pistons

Heads-
B16A1- need a head
B17A1- good head
B18A1- good head
B18B1- good head
B18C1- good head

Cams-
I have Si, GSR, Ls and Type R cams

My question is what block with what head and with what internals is the motor Honda never built? Thanks to anyone who attempts to help with this one.

Wow, you have the ingredients for a nice lil' motor setup. Here's what I would pick and why:

Block
B18C1-Block-My first choice would be the B18c block simply because it's from GSR so Vtec and high revs is nothing new to this block. More displacement than the B16 and more reliable than a b18b (ls/vtec).

Crank
B17A- I heard that the B17 crank is highly sought after, since it's a mid point between a B18 and a B16. I cant remember why though, so search on this and if it's ideal for what you have in mind (all motor/turbo) then go with it. However, it's the damage from the spun bearing is really bad, then go with the B18c for sure.

Rods and Pistons
I'd definetely go with the B18c rods. Get them polished and shot peened. As for pistons, since you have your motor apart and since you most likely have to get the blocks decked and cylinders bored out, why not just go with .25 oversize CTR or ITR pistons? You'd be better off (assuming you want a NA engine)
However, if you realy want to stick with what you have there. I'd go with whatever yeilds a higher comp, either the B16 or the B18c pistons. I dont the specs on each, so you might want to search on that. Oh, dont forget to balance you rotating assembly!

Heads
B16- People often switch out their GSR heads for B16 head. The B16 has closer specs to that of a ITR, but the ports are just alittle small to be exactly like ITR. Just get a nice port and polish and you're good to go.

Cams
Type R cams-That's hot.

When it's all said and done, you'll have a poor man's ITR motor. Should be fun

A collection over the years. I get them broken and fix them. I weld the blocks from thrown rods, chrome cranks with spun bearings, repair heads for whatever reasons. I will be picking up an Si head tomorrow that was damaged in a wreck. $100 and easily repairable. The typical hydrolock damage (rod through block) costs me about $50 to repair. Ive got two running right now and doent leak a drop.

I will be offering the service to all soon. Suck up some water, either buy a new motor and wonder its shape for maybe $600 or so. OR send it to me for $200 and its good as new. You decide

As far as left overs, I will be selling them CHEAP.
I am selling the GSR all built for $400. Includes-type r internals, block and head w/a repaired block. The rods are cryo treated and pistons are swain, poly and oil sheilded.
