Default 5th gen Accord cluster went out

Okay my friend's 5th Genn Accord cluster went out his car was recently broken into and the cd player trim emergency hazard switch was broken also. Now we bought a new trim and switch the turn signals work but i noticed the guage cluster totally went out. Also now its stuck in park and will only run when started in neutral while pressing on the shift lock release. I searched and people said to check fuses. Fuses check fine. Brake light works including the brake switch behind the brake pedals. Also I went through every light buld that might be affecting the switches. Everything checks out fine but I'm totally lost and confused with this problem. I even tried comparing most of the wires from my 97 Accord vs his 95 Accord. Any help/comment is greatly appreciated

Sounds like a neutral safety switch for the shifter. I guess check the wiring on the gauge cluster im a bit stumped on that one.
