im going to strip the rear of my car pretty soon. just trying to get an idea where/how to place the battery box?
also did you fabricate or buy your battery box? I have a optima red top battery.
By the way this is not my daily driver so dont bother telling me to keep my interior, i have another hatch with interior if i need to haul people around.

good links, by the way my battery is already relocated to the back but it is currently on a boat battery tray type deal similar to the factory tray which is bolted to the thing that covers the spare tire.

ok i went to the local boat us and the plastic boxes dont seem like they would hold up in an accident. Lets see some pics of metal boxes in the back of stripped hatches.

Here is a pic of my battery relocated It's still not finished. I want to make the wire more organized, but you get the idea.
here are some pics of how i did mine. the wires are from an AMP kit i got from wal-mart for like $25. bucks i used to have a system in my car but it got stolen so i used it to relocate my battery and then i just got the metal plate from Lowes to hold it down............

Heres mine. Its a crx but what the hell.... Oh i moved the negitive ground to the 12mm bumper bolts. Its like directly behind where my battery is. I wanna Nrg*cell battery...
