Default Discount Tire return/exchange online vs. local

I have a set of Ventus RS2's that I know are bad and I need different tires.

I purchased these through discount direct online and had them mounted at a local DIscount tire co.

Anyone know if I can do a return or exchange through a local Discount Tire when I ordered them online?

And I KNOW it's the tires!

Did you try calling either one (your local Discount Tire and/or the online folks) and asking them? Or didn't you think of trying that?

As you can see I made the post late at night where it wasn't possible to call them. Of course I will be calling them today but I didn't know if anyone else was ever in the same boat.

Just call your local store...they should honor your request. It is the same company afterall. If they give you problems...just yell at the manager and then tell him you want his boss' name and # and keep going up the line if you have to

I called the one near my house and explained my situation (they were the ones that did the first 4 balancings). They checked around and found 4 Falken Azenis 615's in my size at another store close by. Those 4 tires were ordered for another customer but the manager there said that his customer is not in a hurry for them and he will order him another set and equip me these 4 he has in stock.

I will pay the difference.

Whether or not it is the solution to my problem has yet to be determined but Discount Tire Co. get's a HUGE from me for great customer satisfaction.
