Going to buy an accord with a f22a6... i have some question concerning ECU
First i have to say i red all the faq but couldn't find all the information i was looking for.
i Also visited cb7tuner.com, its a good site
I'm more a civic guy but 3 weeks ago, my eg turbo hatch was stolen and i might buy an accord 93 ex-r 2 door 5 speed ( its a canadian model, its basically a accord SE)
On my turbo hatch i was using uberdata to tune my car on a chipped p28.
So, basically, i want to turbo the accord when i'm gonna buy it.
On the accord ex-r, i guess the ecu is pt6 but there is so little information on it, is it chippeable? Also i know these car have a dual runer intake manifold and i have a couple of chipped p06 and p74: Does anybody able to make the iab work with a p06 on the f22a6 or should i just change intake manifold?
What would you recommand?

I know people have used chipped p06's and p74's on a6 motors...how they did it is a different story.
I would say as long as the ecu looks to open the second runner there shouldn't be a problem, either that or change out to an h23 intake manifold or TB.

just get the p06 then chip it. you can control the butterflies with another vaccum hose, it just wont open at the right time, but if u go back to cb7tuner.com, i think theres thread about how you can use a non pt6 to open the dual runners.
but if your gona turbo, they really dont need to be open or closed at certain rpm's. you can leave them open if you want more high end power, so if ur gona get a turbo that spools kinda late and want power up top, and u can leave them closed if you would like more bottom end power, so it can help you boost a little sooner.
