First real day of riding today
Before today my road motorcycle experience consisted of a few trips around my neighborhood. Today, I went out for about three hours with a few friends. I was absolutely exhausted. Its amazing how sore I am. I used to race motorcross so im used to arm pump but my hands are throbbing. I have kung fu grip. My comfort level and ability grew by leaps and bounds today. I cant wait to go out tomorrow.
Always remember, when you get the most comfortable with yourself and the bike, that's when it's easiest to **** up.
My first two days on my RR where HELL. My knees were killing me when i got off it, and i could hardly walk. But after a week or so, your body will be used to it and it won't phase you for sh*t.
i had crazy kung fu grip, so much that i would have huge blisters/calleses (sp?), that would bleed and go through my glove when riding, but i'm pretty sure this isn't how you want to learn to ride. I think you want to be relatively like with your hands, if i'm right, somebody explain this a little better, and if i'm wrong, throw me in the corner.
most importantly ... have fun tomorrow, and be safe
