Well, I have had my JUN head package (minus ECU) for about 2 months now. My feelings were rather neutral, I didnt love type-3's and I did'nt hate them. Today I recieved my ECU (order mix-up) and let me tell you, I love JUN cams, there is no, I repeat NO dip into VTEC and the power is smooth all the way to the lofty 9100 RPM redline. I got mine for a good price (considering how much they retail for) and believe it to be the single best mod I have ever made to my car.

I know some of you would rather tune the vehicles yourselves, so would I, so I picked up a V-AFC to fine tune with.

Oh and BTW, as some of you may know, I do not own a Type-R, I do however have a B18c5 and J4D LSD tranny so I figured I could get away with posting in here.

My mods are as follows

B18C5
JUN head package (the entire thing)
Mugen Head gasket
Testpipe
Mandrel bent 2.5 inch exhaust with magnaflow mufflers
DC sports Type-R 4-2-1 header (US spec collector)
3 inch filter on a stick
JUN ultralite flywheel
ACT clutch

considered it, then decided against it, If I am gonna go stand alone it is going to be either the Power FC or the up and coming EFI systems plug and play unit.

 

I have a JUN program in my GSR with ITR cams and LSD.. and man it's a monster.

Yeah, I have one too. It is a very nice peace. However, mine's gonna be for sale real soon. Prolly going Hondata. I'm going to build my bottom end and probably get ITB's. I want more tunability
