low rpm misfire, stutter, bogs, etc.... idle jumps also
90 civic with b16a1, no CEL.
I have searched many threads and found no definitive solution to this problem. At low rpm, low throttle (-50%) or trying to keep a steady rpm, it bogs, misfires, stutters, whatever... But at full throttle or high rpm, no problem. My idle also jumps about 1-200 rpm and fluctuates sometimes as low as 250rpm to 1k (seems to be related to my brakes... think the master booster is leaking... pedal sometimes goes to floor).
So far I have found that it is more likely to be plug gap, wires, coil, clogged cat, o2 sensor(s), etc....
The swap was done 2 months ago and I jumped the 2nd o2 directly from the 1st o2 on the ecu. Could this be the main problem? If so, how should I wire it with only one o2? Anything more specific?
Brake problem sound like idle problem, or search other areas?
Any help is appreciated.

well I changed by plug gap from .044 to .040, this seemed to fix the misfire, etc. The idle still fluctuates 50+/-, but much better.
The brakes will continue to be a small problem and will be fixed sometime.

Changing the plug gap resolved my stutter/bog/misfire. It also corrected the idle flucuation within spec (50+/-). Start there if you haven't already.

Start with the plug gap. TPS is most likely not the cause.

Try borrowing a buddy's distributor you know works and see if that clears up the problem. I'm guessing either the ignitor or the whole dizzy is shot.
