Default ricer hood may help with cooling?

How about using the ram air hood or the invader type hood on turbo setups.. anyone use this and had it help with the cooling?

airflow th rough the engine bay is about creating a low pressure pocket inside the hood so air will come into it. The only way to create a low pressure is to evacuate more air than is being forced in. That wont happen but you can maximize it by giving the air a place to go after it, say, passes through the radiator. If your overall goal is to lower underhood temps then you will want to create airflow through the entire engine bay... not an easy task.

Start with raising up the stock hood where it meets the windshield (use some washers between the bracket and the car).
