Stiffer springs needed. reccomendations?
I've got a 95 GSR thats currently riding on NeuSpeed Sport springs and Koni "yellows" (and an ITR swaybar, but thats not important). Anyway, i need stiffer springs for competition (auto-X and some track days) and daily driving. I can't even stand to drive the NeuSpeeds unless the Konis are on full race (1 full turn each).
My problem is that i like the drop on the car. Looks nice (1.75" front, 15." rear; listed.). Any springs with a comperable drop, but a bit more stiffness to them? maybe a linear spring instead of a prograssive? And i've heard Eibach will custom make springs to your sepcs; any idea of prices on that? Anyone done it?
Any info is appreciated; thanks.

Sounds like you are a good candidate for Ground Control sleeves. They use Eibach ERS springs, which are linear, and you specify what rates you want. Also, they work well with the Koni yellows. Keep in mind that hihg-rate linear springs are kind of harsh on the street.

I don't want coilover sleeves though. Springs or true coilovers. And since i'm not rich enough (now) for coilovers, i need springs.
Actually the GC's are very good compared to other coilover sleeves out there. The custom springs are the ERS springs, which come with the GC's. There are many ppl on this board that use the GC/Koni combo for autocross and track. IMO, this would be a great solution to your problem...but that's just me.
Which eibachs though?
And from what i've read/seen, their drop makes the 'tegs look funny (because of the cuts of the wheel wells); which was PART of the reason I got neuspeeds to begin with. They drop the front SLIGHTLY more than the back.
Eibach sport kits maybe?

Eibach Sportlines.
If you are into competition, look into getting a custom set of springs to you specifications. I think you can get a custom set from GC.

I say go with Ground Control. You already have the Konis, it will only cost you $339 for the sleeves and the springs. Well worth it. No junk sport spring is as good as the ERS.
lemme get this straight, no "junk sport spring" is as good as the ERS (I assume Eibach Race Spring). Does that include Eibachs? Because that dosen't make any sense to me that eibachs wouldn't be nearly as good as....................eibachs.
Let me clarify. No junk sport spring is as good as the ERS for AutoX and track. Yes .. even Eibach's.
If you want to set up your suspension to perform for track and autox, like you said in your first post, you need to dump the sport springs.
