Default zc vtec swap won't start

i have an 88 crx hf with a jdm sohc zc vtec(d16z6)
just finished installing it
i used crx si wire harness and y8 IM
i have a code 6(ECT)
water coolant temp
is this the one on the head or the one on the thermostat housing
i extended the si thermoswitch that was on the back of the obd-0 block to the obd-1 plug on the thermostat housing
it does not and has never started
stock pm8 ecu flashes code 6 and code ten(because of dangling iat)
my stock pr3 ecu flashes sixteen short blinks
i know im reading the pm8 right but i may be wrong on the pr3
i dont think these codes would keep it from starting
also i havent wired the vtec or vctec oil pressure yet
sorry for the long *** post been lagging on this swap for months
frustrated in SoCal

always use the engine harness that came with the chassis! Modify to fit.
