Not saying they don't exist, but off the top of my head, I can't think of an american DOHC V6...

Why do you want a polished block? The best you can do is spray it with silver high temp paint, or powdercoat it or something, but i've never seen a polished block that wasnt attached to a car that was trailered....

Exactly...there are a bunch of guys on H-T with hi-temp painted blocks, the shiny silver paint, and they look okay....My old D16Z6 Block I painted black and it looked good....

But polished?

Might as well be a who car

chevrolet lumina z34 (3400 dohc).

ford taurus sho (yamaha made motor... so its a little funky)

most newer ford taurus...

and i'm sure theres plenty others.

that is def. an nsx motor
its beautiful, i want it

i'm really into polishing and i've thought about attempting a b-series block. it would probably be in the 60-80 hour range worth of polishing work. it also wouldn't turn out that great since its cast. the easiest and best way to get away with the chrome finish on the block would be chrome plating. gold plating wouldn't be too bad either .
