what the hell could cause it? i was thinking bad rings, but had never heard or seen some **** like that. it's not like it is gushing oil out of it, but there is a slight leak where the manifold and head meet. lately i have been smelling oil burning alot afetr boosting which is what leads me to believe it is the rings not keeping the oil down.
also last night i was driving my car and it was going fine and then all of the sudden i get on it for a second and get into boost then it started sounded like it was missing, almost as if it were a fouled plug, but when i had plugs foul on me before they would miss when the car is neutral and revved up not only under load, now it does it mainly when under load.
any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. thank you

 

Well, for one you don't have a good seal between the head and manifold. Besides that, it is obvious that there is oil getting in #3 cylinder. But why that may be requires some more information.

Do a compression and leakdown test. A bad test could point to lifted ringlands or bad rings. A good test could point to simply having excessive blowby or bad valve seals.

 

I couldn't see it as being excessive blow by or bad valve seals because the cams are stock gsr set 0/0 degrees. the head was fully built including all seals valves guides ect..... it just doesn't make sense to me. is there anything i should lokk into? thanks for the help bro.
