ive had omni coilovers on my 92 eg si for about 3 months now, and love them. installation was a breeze, a little annoying when u have to adjust them when they are installed. if u want a maintence free coilover with only height adjustment, go for it. i would recommend koni yellows and GC if u want lots of adjustability, but for a street car, these def get a

Thank you evereyone who has responded. What is the problem with adjusting them on the car? Id imagine its just 1. take the wheels off, 2. unlock the collars, 3. spin them up or down, 4 lock, 5 put wheels on 6. done.

Search, if improperly set up (preloaded) before installation, they'll snap right in half. Happened to several people on here. They say if set up properly you're fine

if u follow the preload instructions, once the wheel is off, u have to disconnect the bottom part of the shock, because to adjust them u have to spin the entire bottom part of the shock, not just teh collars. hope i make sense im kinda sick, ill see if i can find a pic.

well if you want my honest opinion .. i rode on my friend's ek with omni's .. i don't like it .. i have koni yellows and neuspeed race springs on my eg and i love it .. i just don't like how omni's don't have adjustable dampening .. for track i would prefer something stiffer .. and for street .. something softer .. i really like my setup .. people often say koni yellow + gc is the best .. but i can't say because i've never tried .. but do some research .. there's a lot of people that like omni's and a lot that don't .. figure out why they do and don't and you will conclude to your answer ..

I've had them on my car since they were first released.. i can't even remember when that was.. has to have been almost a year ago..

edit: i just looked, i purchased them on 9/27/04.. so damn near a year ago.

I've had absolutely zero problems, i've inspected them very closely after reading about some bad things that were happening to people.. but mine still look flawless like the day i got them. I think they're a bit stiff for everyday driving.. but i'm used to it now, the car is a blast to drive, and i'd recommend them to anyone for the price they are.

In case anyone cares I bought H&R coilovers. Ive had numerous success with H&R, they are easily adjusted for height, and the price was just about what Onmi's would cost. Im always screwing with my ride height so to remove the bottom of the shock each time doesnt work for me.

Thank you for all your input!

I have the sleeves on for close to a year now. No problems. $177, couldn't go wrong.

I (IMO) think that for a couple extra bucks the ksports are a better piece. I went with 11K front and 9K rear on my 96 hatch, and the ride is very very comfortable. Ive toyed with all of the settings on them, and the ride suites every need ive wanted of them. For everyday driving, highway, dragstrip, and fast winding curves, these things have surprised me. I got them from Andy at bodykitsNW, and for a little over $750 shipped to my door, they (to me) were a steal.
