Got my Snap-On DMM & Graphing Diagnostic
Well i got my new tool, A snap-on vantage graphing dvom and diagnostic database..
This is a great tool for diagnosing sensors, injectors, etc..
im sure at least one of you on here know what i am talking about and how it works.. its great to ahve a personal one, instead of the one at the shop..
it is in great conidtion and literally has every car on it.. it tells you sensor location, pinouts, tips, everything you can think of!
i use this almost everyday at work, not mine, but the shops' that is..

if anyone needs anything, like voltage readings, ac square wave shots, w.e just let me know

No offense dude, those suck for systems testing and function analysis
I have a Genysis with all of the available software and it is an AMAZING piece of diagnostic equipment. I honestly think it is even better than the Snap-On MODIS (except for the 5-gas analyzer that the MODIS has) that and the Modis has a touch screen and the genysis is a push button unit.
BTW, how much did you pay for the Vantage unit?

i use this, and the genisys everyday at work. i just cant afford one for personal use. im fully trained on this unit and the genisys. i hate the vantage pro and modis, damn, just personal preference really.
the genisys is bad *** and we have the 5gas for it.. i use it everyday to pull codes, datalog and diagnosis..it is an amazing tool, we alsot just got the 04-05 upgrade for it not too long ago, and sent out scope out to get it fixed...

I am actually not a big fan of the MODIS or that Vantage
I have completely been won over by the makers of the Genysis. I will be attending a training coarse on Tuesday for the new software updates for it (including the new Pathfinder software) and I will be getting the Porsche connectors and software shortly. I cannot wait for the Porsche stuff......better yet I cannot wait to try and mess with a GT3 supercup car with it.

hahah lol, i love driving down the road and on a certain sensor, hit the record button lol its good ****..
also im trained with the genisys, we got it throught matco, so its called "determinator" but its the same thing...it is a great tool. otc makes some good stuff..
its soo expensive, yet i hate when otc didnt pay the money to get into some abs systems, it pisses me off, yet i guess they thought it wouldnt be worth the extra money.. so we just send them to the dealer
also who are u getting trained by, are the subcontracted? are the E.A.S.T Training?
