One more Butt-Hurt Type-S owner
I love my Type-S! I have owned every Integra since the DA and it has been a pleasure. Here is my one gripe: Why didn't Acura put and LSD in my TYPE-S?!! I DAMN SURE PAID ENOUGH FOR ONE!! When I saw the new Si I thought: "what an ugly piece of ****!" I realize now that that was my defense mechanism. While I do like how my RSX looks better than the new Si, I don't like it enough to pay 3G's more for it esp. w/out an LSD
THE TYPE S SHOULD HAVE HAD AN LSD FROM DAY NUMBER ONE!!!
Also, do any of you guys know where the Si is going to be built? Of Japanese or American parts?

yeah I have an 05 rsx-s too. i got it couple of months ago. I caught a gasp when i saw the new civic will have lsd. the only thing i can keep thinking now is damn i should have gotten something else, oh well. next car i will be choose better
Don't be fooled by the hipe for the new civic. It has lsd but is still 1 second slower from 0-60 than the rsx types according to car and driver magazine.I personally can't wait to run them on the track and show them real vtech with my types.
I would like to have LSD, but I still like my RSX a lot more than the new Civic, inside and out. Just because the Civic has LSD doesn't mean I want it over my car. No thanks.

You can buy a Quaife Torsen axle for your Type S for under $900.

One way to appear to have the answer for everything (well, this is how I do it) is to only post answers about stuff that I know.. lol

It's common knowledge that you can add a LSD to a FWD Honda. I can think of 5 different companies off the top of my head that makes one for the K series tranny.
And as soon as we find out if the oem LSD in the new Si will fit into the RSX-S, we now have a cheaper way to make this happen.

the new si weighs in at a near 2900 lbs. this could be the 1 second but i dont know why anyone hates on either, there both phat cars and are bothalmost all around the same.

I'd wait to see the shift points on the new Si vs. the RSX-S before the 0-60 times are compared. I realize they are both 6MT, but gearing could be different (i.e. extra shift in Si to get to 60)
just ******* buy a type r LSD and put one in. how come they didnt put a navi in the car? how come they didnt put a turbo in the car? i can go on and on.... just buy one.

The new Si, along with all coupes, are to be built in Alliston, Ontario, Canada... where they've been building Civic sedans for over a decade now. The new sedans, oddly enough, are now going to be built in a plant in Ohio.

You mean the engine and tranny? Yeah.. I don't doubt that for a second. I should have said that the cars will be ASSEMBLED in Alliston, which is more accurate.
