That's an interesting way to look at it. However, it were me in this situation, I would be glad that the thief got away with an unusable part as opposed to the possibility of him actually benefiting from my dismay over having a part stolen off my car.

As a matter of fact, since he stole it anyway, I'd be glad he broke the damn thing and I just laugh at people like that.

Yep, I got mine stolen right in front of my house. They stole that and my ECU at the same time. Out of all of the stuff I have, I never imagined they would take my damn Spoon duckbill!! Thieves suck

Look at this way, I could have been worse. The day after fathers day, I had just fixed all the probs with my turbo hatch. Was the most perfect suny morning on the way to work. Speakers sounded better. Food tasted better in the morning. Come out on my first break to move my car........ stolen and stripped. Bare shell on the side of the road next to a cemetary (so proper)

i didn't get the spoon wing because it mainly looks nice .. i got it because it's something that works .. the slope actually puts downforce for the rear end at sufficient speeds .. but yeah .. it sucks that this has to happen ..

my ebp 93 dx hatch was equipped with a Carbon spoon sports duckbill, someone tried to steal it, in the process they cracked the **** out of it and i guess decided a cracked duckbill wasnt worth anymore time.

Whether you pay $400 for it, or pay $40 for it...It still sucks to get your duckbill stolen. Some of us like to buy the good stuff to start out with

Kinda cruel to ask, but, you got any pictures of the damage..?
Pictures are always more fun.

And whats with this "good stuff"
My abs duckbill grabs as-much downforce as your carbon one... and probably weighs less But... i guess it's not as blingy as Carbon Fiber

*whispers* Did he say carbon fiber!? *whispers*

yeah .. you feel the downforce .. but it's very minor .. unless you really know exactly how your car feels without it .. you can't tell with it .. but it does work .. you can do some research on it and find out ..

well .. if it slopes as high as the spoon one .. then yeah .. but most replicas aren't sloped as high as the spoon one .. so not much downforce if you use the replicas ..
