I would like to know how many quart or gallon of paint would be enough to paint a 1993 Civic Hatch? Im getting my car paint by a local shop but he said if i want to get the paint he'll just used it and i could saved some money. So im here trying to get some info. I hope u guys could help me out.

I used about 3/4 of a gallon on my 97 coupe. so that will be more than enough for your car

 

I paint cars and whatnot, but it took about 1 gallon to do about 4 coats on a Civic hatch with the whole engine bay and interior floors done. The whole car got a complete color change but the paint that I used, House of Kolor is mixed with a 1 to 1 ratio. So if you need a gallon of paint then you need a gallon of reducer, I think the number I used was cp161. But that was a complete change over with a lot of coats to make the car pretty nice looking, then if you use a base coat/clear coat you have to have a clear to bring out the shine and the tru color. It should be enought I ussed a little over 3 qts on my del sol, for a complete color change, 3-4 coats.

 

Thank you all for your replies. Im thinking just go with 2 base coat and 1 clear. Hopefully it turn out ok and last atleast 2 to 3 yrs. Maybe around that time im probably moving on to another car. Again Thanks .
