Default .Exedy Clutch on a b18b1 GSR Tranny in EG (Question)

Alright I just started out my fresh swap. Newly rebuilt bottem end with a GSR tranny with a brand new exedy stage one clutch. My question is with the new clutch in there, I died out on accident and then the car was a bitch to start back up. Is it suppose to be like this with the new clutch until I break it in. I barely has 100 miles on it.

And for the tranny. How do I know for sure if it's a GSR tranny. Like on first gear going 15 miles an hour what rpm am I suppose to be in. or if i'm in 5th going sixty what rpm am I suppose to be in? rihgt now 60 goes to about 3200.

And another thing when I first start my car. My rpm guage just jumps both on my stock and my sport comp autometer. But it's not my engine though. It just shoots up and down up and down up and down. I m not sure what it is.

shouldnt you have made sure it was a gsr tranny before you bought it and installed it? hmm. anyway, about your clutch. i have a 4 puck and know that you have to drive completely different. it needs a higher rev to get going. you only have a stage one, so it shouldnt be half as bad. either way, im sure you need a little more rpm to get that flywheel goin' this is of course, assuming you are driving it like a stock clutch...if you are not...well.........

where are you taking the tach signal from on the aftermarket unit? if you are taking it off the same source as the stock in dash that could be your problem on why both are doing the same thing. check all your wiring, nothing loose, unconnected, etc.
as for the trans. at 100kph (60mph) i am around 3200rpm in 5th, and i also use the exedy stage 1, I didnt find anything really different over the stock except the clamping force and pressure needed but I didnt need to rev it any higher to move. Maybe your hydrualics are in question??
