LEGAL OR NOT (RHD)
Hey guys i just picked up a 95 GSR integra as a winter project car, i really want to do a RHD and JDM ITR front end converstion, the only problem is Im not sure ifs its legal or not and thats alot of work to put out for nothing. Does Anyone have a 100% answer for me.im located in maryland so we only have a inspection when u tag the vechile theres not like a yearly inspection. I did a search under "LEGAL RHD" and didnt really get a answer..... Let me kno what ya kno
right a agree with u 100% but can u convert a LHD to RHD with out problems, i mean your messing with structural metal in the conversion. I mean i think i will have no problem driving the car around... but i think when i do wanna sell the car i will have issues

oh yea, alot of people are doing it. It'll take you a long *** time and you'll feel like **** for the first few weeks cause all your measurement will be off. Trust me, I've driven in my country last summer and let me tell u, I hit someone but I ran away LOL
There's a thread in the Type R forum on wher eyou can get the whole clip for like 1700 bux or so...also, look on ebay.

all you have to do that is pain staking is drilling the psot welds out on the lhd firewall and putting the rhd one in and spot welding it... it donest cause the chassis to tweak or anything. im currently looking for an ek9 front clip to do the same thing to my 99 si but i cant find a ******* clip and its pissing me off
Yea i looked on e-bay and just so importers, cant find **** everyone wants to sell it clip with the motor and im really just lookin for a clip w/o motor
if yer doing a rhd conversion, make sure you get someone experienced to do your cutting and welding. it is legal in the US, but if you've never done it before then you could encounter a lot of red tape, and not be driving it for a while.

The conversion to RHD might be legal (I have no clue), but the JDM front end is not legal. The bumper doesn't meet US spec for impact, and the headlights are illegal. Not saying you'll get hassled over it, just that it technically isn't legal.
