Default 03 in-dash changer (lights)

The lights went out on my radio, but the radio still works, and my dash still lights up and works. Has anybody else had this problem? With 60,000 miles I'm way out of warranty. I guess if the radio has to be replaced, I will go aftermarket. Hopefully it's a fuse!

I would check your fuses and go from there...hell you might even give a call to the dealer, they still might cover it.

It is not a fuse problem. It is a common problem with 7th gen accords and TSX's...I have a 7th gen accord and i had the same problem. Dealer will replace at no charge to you. They replace the actual stereo control unit not the face plate. Honda will cover you under warranty.

Even if you're out of warranty they'll probably good will it, since the radio costs near $1000. If they want to screw you they'll make you pay for the labor....If they wanna make you pay then call American Honda and complain that you know it's a common and acknowledged problem with your car. 9 times out of 10 they'll work with you and get it done for free...the way it should be.

Hope that helps

Thanks a bunch, I was on the verge of buying a in-dash DVD screen witch I still may still do, but I don't have to rush into it.....

You where right. Today I took my car in to have the radio looked at, and they replaced it free. Thanks
