Crankshaft endplay

Hey guys,

I have a question. Is the crankshaft on a D16Z6 supposed to have some endplay? For example, when I grab the crankshaft pulley, I can move it forward and back a little. Not by much, though. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if maybe I might be looking at some bearing probs.

Replace the shims.

there should be some end play, but you have to check to see if its within spec...

new: 0.10-0.35mm (0.004-0.014 in.)
service limit: 0.45mm (0.018 in.)
