Using crank from a different motor requires align hone?

Using crank from a different motor requires align hone?

If I were to buy a bare block and use a crank from a different motor, would I have to align hone the bottom end?

Usually no, but you will have to get really serious when it comes to bearing selection though.

its all about the letters and #... ACL's are green/brown.
If thats what your tolerances call for, then your good to go.

You will most likely need to mix and match OEM bearings to get the desired clearances so ordering ACL's was maybe not the smartest thing to do.
