Default Non honda...but boosted

My roomate has a built 86 Dodge Shelby Charger...and were seeing only 10inches of vacuum at idle, and its running lean at idle on the wideband...like so lean it just says "lean" instead of a number reading...also we have a bucking at various throttle postions through out the rpms...but under full boost it goes like hell...sound like ignition to anyone? a timing issue perhaps, were just getting agrivated and would like some more insight...

Gotta love honda techer's ...

Id say look into the usual my guess is the car is a Mass Airflow car ... make sure the airflow meter is not clogged with **** and the honey combs are still there ... If he modifided the meter that may be the reason you are just plain overflowing it at idle or low throttle. Also many meter cars act weird when a vaccum leak is present from a line or say intake manifold/TB gaskets. How is he tuning it AFC ??

Car doesnt run a MAF, and for tuning, their stock ecu's "learn" so its on a calibrated ecu for the setup, and it just adjust ignition and fuel maps as it goes...kinda cool, but theres downfalls to it...we retarded the timing maybe a degree or 2 and its doing better...but we also did abuncha testing...hooked it up on the vacuum leak machine, where it runs smoke through, and found no leaks...so were getting stumped

Ha ha ha, finally a post for a guy like me lol. Have you guys pulled codes on it yet? Just click the ignition foward 3 times and count the "check engine" flashes in 2 digit sequences. http://www.turbododge.com would probably be your best bet as for answers.

Is this a Turbo1 motor with the "log" style intake? What all has he done thus far in the buildup?
