NGK Iridum Spark Plugs - My D16Y7 - Partial review, lets hear yours
Yes I put in the Iridium plugs I got from sparkplugs.com . They are the Iridium fine tipped plugs, with a small ground, made to last 100k miles.
From what I have learned, they really do work. In theory, they are smaller, and allow more of a swirl because the gap is more exposed. Also, with the smaller tip, it requires more voltage to jump the arc, so on a engine in bad condition, less likely to not spark. However, they also reduce the voltage required. They produce a hotter spark, and because the tip is so small, the spark is in the same place everytime (compared to my stock V-Power plugs, where it could be on either side (also from NGK, OEM replacement).

Does anyone have a dyno chart prooving that the slight improvement in combustion produces more than say...1hp?
I have them installed on my D16Y7, 96 Honda Civic, 106hp. I have modded a few things, this being one of them, and have increased my MPG from about 29 to about 34 with a few bits and pieces. I may note that i have these plugs indexed toward the intake valves. When I put them in, I did not notice a power gain, (my engine is at 112k miles and in great shape) and noticed a slightly smoother idle. Nice to know they last 100k miles, and well worth the price of LESS than 30$ shipped to my door.
Any testimonials or numerical proof? I can say there the best, but I cant back that with numbers or how MUCH better they are.
